Valentine's and a Woman's Heart
April Motl is a pastor’s wife who loves to laugh, loves her man, loves to talk on the phone entirely too long and most of all, loves her Lord. Collaborating with the efforts of her husband Eric, the two of them share a ministry dedicated to bringing God’s Word into the everyday lives of married couples, men and women. April has been privileged through her own church and ministry outside her local body to share God's Word with women ranging in ages and stages, across denominations, and walks of life. April is a graduate from Southern California Seminary and has written for Just Between Us Magazine, Dayspring's (In)courage, and The Secret Place and also writes regularly for crosswalk.com, iBelieve.com and Women's Ministry Tools. Whether you're single or married, Valentine's Day can stir up some emotions that make us wish the holiday would just fall off the calendar. There's only one place that's ever been big enough to lose my gnawing loneliness, wash away my aching wounds, or just simply get lost in, and that is in Christ. If something (a holiday, a person, an experience, or whatever) burdens us deeply or even threatens to define us, we are in need of a fresh bout of basking in His love.
Here's a collection of articles and free printables that will hopefully be a blessing to you this holiday season as you center your heart in Christ's love.
The Price of Your Heart Everyone has one. It’s price tag that hangs around the doorknob that opens the hallways of your heart. For some, that price tag is high and trust is given sparingly. For others, the door swings open on its hinges welcoming all into the warmth of intimacy...
His Love Over You Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul. Psalm 143:8 Because sometimes we really need to hear the Lord's lovingkindness over us...

Valentine place card set In past years I have loved throwing tea parties at Valentine's for my single friends (and as I've been married even some of us married gals could use some reminding about how much God loves us!) These place cards will give you a head start!
