TLC has officially cancelled “19 Kids and Counting” nearly two months after a discovery that Josh Duggar sexually abused five underage girls in his teen years, including four of his sisters. TIME reports that TLC removed “19 Kids” from the air immediately after the sex abuse allegations arose, but only now has the network cancelled the show for good.

TLC release a statement saying, “The recent attention around the Duggars has sparked a critical and important conversation about child protection. Unfortunately, child sexual abuse is not an isolated issue; it affects many children and families around the world. To that end, we are partnering with [the organizations RAINN and Darkness to Light] on a multi-platform campaign to raise awareness and educate parents and families about the issue.”

TLC plans to air a one-hour documentary that highlights sex abuse victims later this summer. Jill and Jessa Duggar will be featured in the documentary.

As previously reported, Josh Duggar received counseling after inappropriately touching the young girls.

When the allegations came to light, Duggar said, "I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions. I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God's grace, mercy and redemption."
