Read: Psalm 142

Key Verse: “Look to my right and see; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.” - Psalm 142:4

Who are the loneliest people in your community? Why don’t people reach out to them? How do you feel about connecting with them? David is praying from a cave as he is hiding from King Saul. Once popular, David is now all alone and on the run. He is bearing his soul and sharing his misery. It is a terrible feeling to have no one who cares about you. Have you ever experienced this?

How can you show that you care for someone? What communicates to you that someone has genuine concern and compassion? Choose one person today and reach out to them through a text, a call, a gift, a letter, or a meal. Ask God now to place someone on your heart that needs some love and attention. Decide how you are going to bless this person and let them know they are not alone.
