The World Class Difference
by Rick Boxx
February 15, 2010

Peter Vidmar, former Olympic gymnast, shared with an audience the difference between an Olympic champion and an Olympic gymnast. To achieve a perfect 10 in gymnastics, according to Mr. Vidmar, requires three additional factors; risk, originality, and virtuosity. Each of these factors can add .2 points to a great score of 9.4, driving the total to a perfect 10.

To become a world class champion requires skill and determination beyond being great. The result however can be the notice of kings and Presidents.

Proverbs 22:29 teaches, "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men."

Peter identified what it takes to serve kings. Do you know what it takes in your vocation?
