The public’s reaction to the John 3:16 ad which ran during the NFL divisional playoff game between Tim Tebow’s Denver Broncos and the Super Bowl-bound New England Patriots has given me and the team here at Focus on the Family a much needed lift. lucado1.jpg

Let me share with you how and why:

Times and finances are tough for all of us, especially for organizations like ours which are entirely reliant on the generosity of others to keep ministry efforts afloat. To receive such a positive reaction to our plan to promote a pure biblical message in today’s culture gives us great hope and energy for the opportunities to come!

Over 40 million viewers were treated to a prime time presentation of the Gospel, courtesy of Focus on the Family’s John 3:16 commercial.

That’s a “WOW!” fact for me.

That we were able to pull it off in a matter of a few days is thanks to God’s grace and provision. We didn’t know what to expect. It was a risk.  But the Lord has very generously affirmed the decision to step out in faith. In fact, we’ve been overwhelmed by the calls and comments from many of you who watched and passed on the ad via your respective social networks.

Thank you for championing the project – and for sharing your faith in Jesus Christ with the world!  focusradio1.jpg

As a small token of our appreciation to you for giving us this boost, I hope you’ll receive a special gift from us.  By clicking here you’ll receive access to today’s special radio broadcast which features an expanded discussion about John 3:16 as well as tips for everyday evangelism. You’ll also receive as a gift a copy of our award-winning children’s program, Adventures in Odysseyall for free.

It’s my prayer that these complimentary resources might encourage you to the degree you have encouraged us.

Thanks again from all of us here at Focus!

We are here for you, but only because He has been first here for us.
