• Drugs/Alcohol: None.
  • Language/Profanity: None.
  • Humor: Some scatological humor, but it’s not pervasive
  • Sex/Nudity: None.
  • Violence/Thematic Material: While a family-friendly movie, The Lion King isn’t just cuddly kid fun. There are serious themes including the premature death of a parent and several scary scenes and battles that end in death. Several characters are trampled in a stampede, while others fall into a brush fire. A bloody fight ends with animals being killed by hyenas off-camera. In one scene, another character is dunked into a boiling pot.
