Drugs/Alcohol: Smoking is shown, but not in a way that glamorizes it.
Language/Profanity: Some mild language (he--, da--) makes its way into the movie on occasion, but it's definitely not the norm.
Thematic Material: Some of the discussion of socio-economic conditions and the impact on education may go over the heads of younger viewers, but for the most part, the film is appropriate for all ages.
