10. Forgive as God forgave you. Have a reputation as someone who lives a lifestyle of forgiveness. Show mercy toward people. Look at them as if they were all dressed up in the rightness of Jesus. Do for others what God has done for you.

Art House: A Word on Worship

Worship is the way we say, “Yes” to the truth of God’s existence, His authority, His loving creativity and His excellence (or glory). Consider Paul’s own words from Acts 20:24: “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.” Paul is simply following in the new way. This is our path as well. God’s grace is a certainty. It comes to us via storytelling and storied living through the life of our teacher and master Jesus. He amazes us and thaws us out to feel wonder again. And so we praise God. You see, this is the why of worship.

Why worship? How can we not! It is a fact that God is Creator and re-Creator. We tell him: You alone are worthy of worship. You can’t watch God work and not be moved to worship. This is worship as a response.
