We Talk About Responsibility
MS: OK, Gary. Here's one... Responsibility. What do we each actually have responsibility for?
GC: I believe I'm not responsible for answering that question for you. I'm only responsible for answering that question for me. I think I'm responsible for nurturing and cherishing my relationship with Christ. And if I really do that, so many of the other responsibilities that are laid out in front of me, that could be pointed at and declared mine, are covered. I do think that I am more accountable, maybe not responsible, but I do believe that if you are a public figure you should be more accountable. Because what you do impacts so many more people. I know not everybody agrees with me on that. But that's the way I feel.
