Sponsored by World Vision, the "Left Behind II: Tribulation Force the Music Tour" begins October 21 at Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas with Kirk Cameron (star of Left Behind and Left Behind II: Tribulation Force) as the host in five of the nine tour stops. Additional stops in Dallas/Fort Worth; Atlanta; Birmingham, Alabama; Knoxville, Tenn.; Mobile, Ala.; and Spartanburg, S.C. are scheduled.
The music tour coincides with the October 29 release of the DVD/VHS of Cloud Ten Pictures' Left Behind II: Tribulation Force, as well as all four accompanying soundtrack recordings (Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Southern Gospel, and Urban Hip-Hop).
"Left Behind II: Tribulation Force the Music Tour" will include musical performances by GRAMMY and Dove Award-winning multi-platinum recording artist Bob Carlisle, GRAMMY Award-winning recording artist Ashley Cleveland, critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter Russ Lee, Homeland recording artist The Journeymen Quartet, worship artist Matt Brouwer, and new Flying Leap recording artist Abee.
Star of Left Behind and Left Behind II: Tribulation Force, Kirk Cameron is best known for his role as Mike Seaver on the award-winning ABC television series, Growing Pains (1985-1992). He and his wife, Chelsea Noble, are the founders of Camp Firefly/The Firefly Foundation, which was established to sponsor camping trips for terminally ill children and their families.
