"There She Stands" was written by multi-platinum, multi-GRAMMY-winning and Gospel Music Association "Artist of the Year" Michael W. Smith soon after last year's September 11 terrorist attacks.  While the singer/songwriter has performed it many times in concert within the last year (even for President Bush), he chose to delay its release until now.

Nationally syndicated radio host Delilah interviewed Smith earlier this week about "There She Stands", which will air tonight as part of her special September 11 show.   The single will be available to the public on the upcoming Worship Again CD to release on Reunion Records this October 22.  As the follow-up to Worship (already certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America), Worship Again includes performances recorded this past summer in Louisville, Kentucky, before an audience of over 11,000.  Some attendees traveled from as far away as Alaska to participate in the worship event held at Southeast Christian Church.

Smith will be joined this fall by multi-GRAMMY nominated, Gospel Music Association "Group of the Year" Third Day and special guest author Max Lucado on the highly anticipated "Come Together and Worship Tour."  Sponsored by Chevrolet, the 15+ city tour begins November 1 in Atlanta, Ga. and concludes November 23 in Auburn Hills, Mich.
