In the duo’s third release, Reaching, Phillip and Natalie LaRue come across with a clear vision of ministry and future, but also as a mature, seasoned pair of artists on the whole.
Produced by Monroe Jones, this latest offering from the brother and sister has a European rock edge untapped by the band’s previous efforts. Four years on the road have sharpened LaRue’s songwriting skills, and the outgrowth is a collection of songs that encourages the listener to dig deep into the mysteries of God.
Reaching truly showcases the band’s musical depth and talent. Many wondered whether LaRue would outgrow its teen-pop days, but Reaching proves to be a giant step in a beautiful direction.
