Sanctus Real Launches Say It Loud December 24

Toledo, Ohio-based newcomers Sanctus Real will enter the world of Christian music with their Sparrow Records debut, Say It Loud, on December 24.
The quartet of rockers eventually caught the label's notice after winning Clear Channel WIOT - FM’s “Best Band” contest and beating out 75 other hopefuls to receive the top award from the station. "We heard about it and entered at the last minute," remembers Matt Hammitt, lead singer/guitarist. "We came in #1, then got a chance to play our first club show, followed by several months of touring. So far we've played all over the country."
Several independent projects (Nothing to Lose, Message for the Masses, All This Talk of Aliens) have preceded Say It Loud, which was produced by Pete Stewart (tobyMac, Tait). “Sanctus Real is a real rock band,” emphasizes Stewart. “The refreshing thing about making [Say It Loud] is that we took the approach of capturing a solid rock band just playing great songs without a lot of extra fluff. As a result, the record really breathes and has a lot of their youthful energy on it."
This fall, Sanctus Real is featured on the highly successful "Festival Con Dios Tour", alongside Christian music heavyweights Audio Adrenaline, tobyMac, Mercy Me, and Out of Eden.
