Creating Expectation for your Eternal Celebration

July 19, 2013

And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”

Revelation 19:9

My wife, Deb, and I love having special occasions in our home. We love Thanksgiving and Christmas and having family and friends over to celebrate God’s blessings in our lives. And when people come over for a celebration, we bring out our nicest china, polish up our silver, cook a big dinner, and just go all out.

So if our family came over for Thanksgiving one year and we took out some paper plates, soda cans, and ordered takeout, they’d know something wasn’t right. That’s because we’ve worked hard to create an expectation of abundant celebration. And that expectation is so engrained in our family’s minds that it just wouldn’t be right if we didn’t meet it.

God wants us to have that expectation as well. He wants us to leave this life and enter the next looking forward with anticipation to the eternal celebration that lies before us. He doesn’t want us to get ready to just float on clouds forever. He wants us ready to celebrate our union with Him forever!

So get ready. We can’t even fathom what’s on the other side of this life. But if we stay faithful, we’re promised to enter into the wonderful joy of our Master for eternity!

LIVE TODAY WITH EAGER EXPECTION OF THE ETERNAL CELEBRATION THAT’S AHEAD OF THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST!

Get the best from 2012 to be your best in 2013

Dear Friend,

While many pastors shy away from addressing controversial issues, I sincerely believe you need to hear straight, “bulls-eye” biblical teaching on many of today’s hot topics. Not only to grow in your faith as a believer, but to give winsome, compassionate answers to the hard questions our culture is asking.

That’s why I want to send you a special new resource today – my CD series called The Best of 2012.

This series contains 10 of my most popular and compelling messages from 2012, and it’s a resource that’s sure to help you in 2013 because it includes messages such as, “Are All Religions the Same?”, “Lessons on Leadership,” and “What Is a Christian?”

The Best of 2012 is my gift to thank you for your donation to help PowerPoint continue to proclaim God’s Word and truth ’til the whole world hears. So please request your copy when you give today.

Thank you!
