Answers in Genesis Posts Religious Freedom Video Billboard Next to New Year's Eve Ball Drop

A video billboard sponsored by apologetics group Answers in Genesis will be featured prominently in Times Square during the New Year’s Eve celebration. 

The billboard reads, “To all of our intolerant liberal friends, Thank God for freedom. Brought to you by Answers in Genesis and the First Amendment.” It also displays a white cross on a blue blackground. 

The video lasts 15 seconds and will be played seven minutes per hour until Jan. 1. On Jan. 2, the video billboard will move to a location on Broadway. 

Christian Today reports that the video ad will likely be seen on the television broadcast of the New Year’s Eve ball drop; Answers in Genesis expects the billboard to be read by millions. 

"I am thrilled that the Cross of Christ will be seen in the most-watched place in the world on this day," said Ken Ham, Answers in Genesis president.
