Donald Trump Appoints Committed Pro-Life Activist as Policy Director

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump recently hired a committed pro-life activist to be his Policy Director.
ThePulse2016.com reports that John Mashburn, Trump’s new Policy Director hire, has been working in politics as a pro-life advocate for many years.
The Pulse’s Marjorie Dannenfelser said Mashburn has “deep pro-life roots.”
Mashburn is a North Carolina native who has served as Chief of Staff to pro-life Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina.
Mashburn has also served in the offices of the Senate Majority Leader, Senate Republican Conference Secretary, and the House Majority Whip. He also worked for nonprofits and public policy groups.
In addition, Mashburn has served well-known pro-life activist Senator Jesse Helms.
Mashburn’s impressive resume bodes well for both Trump and the pro-life movement, according to Dannenfelser, who added that if Trump is elected, Mashburn will assuredly play a vital role in Trump’s promise to defund Planned Parenthood and enact the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.
