It’s so inspiring to see people using their talents for the Lord. CBN News reports that many of the top contestants on the new season of American Idol identify as Christians.

The singing contest has been narrowed down to 10 contestants, six of whom have said that their faith is in Jesus. These contestants have also used their platforms to glorify God and shine His light.

Contestant Cade Foehner, who is a minister as well as a rock n’ roller, has been especially vocal about his faith.

Foehner uses his social media accounts to share his faith as well. Upon getting into the top 10, Foehner posted, “I’ll be a son of a gun if we’re not in THE TOP 10 of @americanidol I cannot possibly thank my precious Flock enough for everything y’all have done. I know for certain I do not deserve a single bit of this, yet our Lord did this. I am humbled and grateful. Love y’all!!”

The other contestants who have proclaimed their Christian faith on and off the show are country singers Caleb Hutchinson and Gabby Barrett, Michael J. Woodward, Dennis Lorenzo, and Michelle Sussett.

Barrett even posted a video of herself singing “Were You There When They Crucified My Lord?”

Praise God for these faithful witnesses who are using their talents to glorify their Savior!
