Trump Says Besides Abortion, Planned Parenthood Does 'Wonderful Things'

In a very heated GOP debate last Saturday, Donald Trump stated that Planned Parenthood “does do wonderful things but not as it relates to abortion.”
Breitbart.com reports that Texas Sen. Ted Cruz disagreed with Trump, accusing him of supporting taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.
“Where did I support it?” Trump challenged Cruz.
“You supported it when we were battling over defunding Planned Parenthood,” Cruz responded. “You said, ‘Planned Parenthood does wonderful things and we should not defund it.’”
Trump then repeatedly called Cruz a liar and a “nasty guy,” and asserted his belief that Planned Parenthood does do “wonderful things having to do with women’s health…But not when it comes to abortion.”
Trump also clashed with other GOP candidates in Saturday’s debate, to the disapproval of the booing crowd.
He especially targeted former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, accusing Bush’s brother, former President George W. Bush, of making a mistake going to war with Iraq, and even blaming him for the September 11 attack.
"I'm sick and tired of him going after my family," Bush responded, to cheers from the audience. "While Donald Trump was building a reality TV show, my brother was building a security apparatus to keep us safe and I'm proud of what he did."
