Living Free Every Day®

Today's Scripture

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. Ephesians 1:17 NIV

Thoughts for Today

In the Gospel of John we learn that Jesus is the Word: "The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood." John 1:14 MSG

Through the Living Word, Jesus, and the written Word, we can come to know God better and to grow in our relationship with Him. This should be one of our highest goals as we study the Bible. Prayer

Father, thank you for revealing yourself to me—through our Lord and Savior, Jesus, and through the written Word. As I study the Word, may your Holy Spirit continue to help me know you better. In Jesus' name …
