Ephesians 3:20-21

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen”

How could anyone read this and then settle for just a normal life?!

Read it again slowly and thoughtfully. “Far more abundantly than all that we ask or think”! It doesn’t say that God will do whatever you ask or think. It says that he’s able to do way more than that. Well, that verse should make you long to learn the principles that will put your prayers in line with God’s purposes so that this power of his will be released through you!

It should make you want to study Scripture and renew your mind with God’s word so that you “think” in line with what God is thinking and your thoughts flow into actions that God would want to bless and enable and empower.

Your life can be far beyond what’s “normal”. Your life can be supernatural because of God acting in and through you!

AW Tozer said, “The sovereign God wants to be loved for himself and honoured for himself, but that is only part of what He wants. The other part is that he wants us to know that when we have him we have everything—we have all the rest.”
