For the spa girl: Does your wife love to be pampered? You can buy her something to help her relax at home. It can be something as simple as bubble bath soap and cozy pink socks to something elaborate like a heated aqua jet foot spa! Maybe she would like a gift certificate to a local spa or a homemade gift certificate for a night off. For one night, you’ll take care of dinner and the family responsibilities. All your wife has to do is relax!

For the fashion diva: If you feel comfortable doing so, shop around for a new purse for your wife. Try looking in discount department stores like TJMaxx, Ross, or Marshalls. Better yet, ask your mother, sister or wife’s best friend to buy the purse for you. Put a card in the purse that says you’d be lost without your wife and tell her how much you need and appreciate her. If you want, you can even put a little gift certificate to her favorite store in there too.

For the romantic dreamer: Give a gold themed gift. You can buy gold earrings, bracelets, or necklaces (it doesn’t have to be real gold to be great), a golden box of chocolates, or a gold keychain, along with a message like You set the gold standard for wives, I struck gold when I found you, or Our love is golden. I know it’s cheesy, but we women like this kind of stuff as long as you make it personal.

For the coffee lover: Give her a gift card to her favorite coffee shop along with a note that gives her your blessing to have five coffee dates with friends. If you have children at home, offer to watch the kids so she can meet her girlfriend for coffee. You can also make her a gift basket filled with all things coffee: mug, coffee beans, chocolate covered espresso beans, travel mug…there’s even coffee soap!

Okay, now you won’t have to resort to buying any nose and ear trimmers or vacuum cleaners for Christmas. Happy holiday shopping for the one you love!
