The article speaks to those who want to still argue about right and wrong. The article is about truth in love, not a question of what the Bible stands for, and Jesus loved EVERYONE - including gays. This is the truth just as it is truth He doesn't condone the lifestyle. It is not a natural course to live this life, proven by the fact gays cannot bear children naturally, however we are to love them as they are loved and worthy to God and we all sin and fall short. The point of the article is to love and see the sin not the sinner as condemned.

For the sister whose brother believes that he was born a homosexual, I would like to share the scripture that God placed on my heart several years ago regarding this issue, Romans 1:18-27. Basically stating that because they denied God and was very adamant in their denial, God gave them over to a reprobate mind. I would strongly suggest that you would pray and ask God for wisdom and grace in regards of how to minister to your brother via love with this truth.

I agree with this article but wonder how many people trapped in this lifestyle really are released from bondage. My brother is gay and is convinced he was born that way. I want him free and all I can do is pray for him as he is not convinced it is sin. As you point out, he is a Christian and attends a church that does not condemn him.

I have written on this same subject. Homosexuality is not the only area where there is division of thought. Many often offer the "Love the sinner, hate the sin" line. That only goes so far. I believe that God wants us to love others (we are all sinners) and let Him take care of the sin. That doesn't mean we should accept the sin, any sin, but if we love God, we do as he commands. (They're not called the "Ten Suggestions".) In no relationship -God/human or human/human- can truth and love be separated.
