I believe we are missing a great opportunity by fighting the wrong battle when it comes to abortion, what do the lives of these children matter if they are not going to live in a christian household. i know that sounds rough, but i believe that an aborted child goes to heaven automatically, if the child is born in an unchristian house, and dies without being a christian...then honestly wouldn't it have been better if they were aborted?

Instead our life should be such a shining light that people are drawn to our lifestyle. Jesus never said stop sinning and left at that...he said stop sinning AND follow me. The first is worthless without the other. Not to say that non Christians are bad people per se, but no matter how good they are they aren't getting to Heaven. I believe we fall short on this all too often, we get so caught up on the sanctity of life that we forget the important part...Follow Jesus Christ. Remember Jesus never told anybody to stop sinning unless he also told them to follow him...we should make sure we are doing the same.

Firstly we should be trying to eradicate this type of sin inside of the christian community, in our own churches and amongst our christian friends. We should be holding each other accountable. We should be doing our best to make sure our youth understand that the best option is no sex before marriage. Making sure that we know their friends and their friends parents, and understanding their parents views on the subjects and choosing like minded people for them to hang around at an early age.

Secondly we should of course be very outspoken on our views about abortion, and how we feel about it though making a law about such a thing will not do. Forcing people to see the christian perspective at the point of a gun has never been what we were called to do. I understand our desire to protect life, but i have a question for that. What happens to the babies once they die?

I don't understand how as a Christian we are so worried about what non Christians are choosing to do, and why we are so baffled by them making the wrong decisions when it comes to this type of thing.

A non christian doesn't necessarily have a moral code that says that having sex before marriage is wrong, after that if they run into one of the consequences of having premarital sex (namely pregnancy) they only have worldly thoughts to help them through the decision making process. The natural conclusion of worldly decision making when it comes to an unwanted pregnancy is of course going to be to have it aborted.

When it comes to this, I try to see it like anything else that would be considered a sin in the Christian worldview. In accordance to that i don't find it any worse than any other sin. I also believe that we should use the Jesus formula when dealing with it.

There is a problem with a lack of ethics and judgment among the scientific (including medical) community.

First, they study the mechanisms the Creator put in place. This is mostly for good, increasing their ability to heal.

Next, they study how to interfere with these mechanisms; this is part of the scientific method, to find empirical proof of any hypothesis.

Finally, they throw ethics and judgment out the window, doing anything they can merely because they can.

This is where they deviate from the Creator's plan, to their own eternal detriment and that of their clients.

Yes, girls should not be having sex before marriage, especially not girls as young as 12. But some do anyway. At least with this available, abortions will go down. Better to use the pill to prevent pregnancy then get an abortion later.

If this medication was that effective and risk-free, then yes, late-term and other abortions could decrease. However, also the rape and abuse of girls would rise, with men being able to use this medication to cover-up their crimes.

In practice, whenever contraceptives are marketed and distributed and their use increases, then risky sexual behavior increases as well. and you end up with more abortions. This is bad news especially for vulnerable young people, but not for abortionists and the politicians they support.

As young as 12-13 is disturbing but one good thing is that this should reduce the number of inhumane later term abortions which are costly and painful to women and unborn children...
