"ORIGIN OF HOMOSEXUALITY AND GOD'S WORD" is the article that the Lord allowed me to submmit to Tangle.com, Office of Governor of California, Youtube/ferdinand1177 and several international news groups.

This was prompted by the controversy that hounded Miss Californiia, Ms. Carrie Prejean where she was voted down for asserting that marrieage is between man and woman.

The article is found in this link:

I'm sorry to tell these people, but simply changing your plumbing doesn't change your gender. Gender is inscribed within the very being of a person; their DNA. A man can remove his own plumbing and replace it with that of a female, but the man is still a man at the genetic level.

One can't change their DNA.

So these 'sex-change' operations do nothing more than alter a person at a superficial level. Their is no mystery or vague grayness with gender.

As for the post below, I must say your entire argument was incoherent. Simply saying that Adam existed with God prior to the creation of Eve implies that homosexuality is then equitable with heterosexuality is entirely incoherent as the premises don't follow.

"Bible leaves no allowance for sex-change procedures or legal determinations of gender change."

genesis(niv)2:18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a HELPER SUITABLE for him."

how do you make a SUITABLE PARDNER whom he has had no attraction for...........not since his first sexual memory, when he has instead had an attraction for someone of the same gender 24/7 his entire life since that first sexual memory.

yet the bonding is out of the same motivation as that of hetersexuals..........mutual, love, respect, devotion, affection, and trust for a shared committed life together.

and homosexuals have never been found wanting in any sector of society compared to heterosexuals. they are not less a friend, brother, attorney, teacher, administrator, pastor, neighbor, father etc.

again the helper that was made, was to be a suitable helper for adam.............not for the sake of some regulation.

This isn't about lusts, natural or otherwise.

If it were, then transsexual women who are lesbian wouldn't exist - they'd obviously prefer having male bodies. Yet one in three are attracted to other women.

A lot of Intersexed people are naturally vexed at being told that they are giving in to carnal desires. Many of them, due to their biological conditions, don't have a libido. As far as many Intersexed people are concerned, it's the normal people who are obsessed with sex, crazed with it, and many of them don't understand what all the fuss is about. Being accused by these sex-obsessed people of the things the accusers are guilty of is most annoying, and shows a gulf of misunderstanding.

As regards biological essentialism - of course it exists, to a large degree. Only Bisexuals can choose to engage in hetero or homo-sexual relationships, for the rest it's heterosexual only or homosexual only. Chastity is the only option open to all. We control actions, but not attractions.

While I have disagreed with Mr. Mohler in the past, I think he nailed it on the head in this article. According to Genesis 1:27, God created humans male and female in the beginning, and we ought to respect God's intention for our bodies, our actions, and our lives. This truth stands regardless of how literally one interprets the creation story, which I interpret allegorically. While I admit children may be born with a genetic predilection towards homosexuality, to suggest such people cannot restrain their desires and orient themselves towards God's expressed will is plainly false and smacks of biological determinism. Indeed, while we all are born in a state of sin, the Holy Spirit enables us to break free of the lusts of the flesh, including homosexual yearnings. As Christ said, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26).

Interesting article but I think very misguided. If you accept a literal biblical view ,which I do not, then yes in the beginning God created a male and a female. Creation, however, has not ended at the creation of Adam and Eve. Every child that as been born throughout history is a manifestation of God's creative energy. The fact is that people are born homosexuals, transexuals and intersexed. In other words, God created them or God at least allowed the genetic or embryonic conditions to allow these possibilities to exist. Since you have no choice in how you will be born, choice can pretty much be ruled out. Since homosexuality, gender variance and intersex condition exist throughout the animal kingdom, we must assume it is a normal variance within nature.

Oh, the Fundamentalists will have you believe it is a result of sin but can animals sin? Then they will say sin has caused disease, affliction, death, and sexual and gender variance. I suppose there is no way to argue this belief system other than to say "Do you think God would create an innocent child and then label him/her an abomination and condemn the child to eternal Hell?". As far as I'm concerned, that sort of God is not the Father that Jesus describes.

Also, the comment about language requiring a binary gender designation. Wrong. Our language has been developed with a binary concept of gender and hence is limited to those terms. Possibly, we need a new vocabulary that allows for the idea of a gender spectrum and fluidity rather than a fixed binary label. Maybe the terms: he, she, and shim would be more appropriate. Think about it!

2)"God glorifies himself in creating humanity in his own image, both male and female."

Fair enough, but this only leaves two possibilities: Either God is Himself both male and female at the same time, or genderless.

Either way this would require that humans could exist in a similar state of being either both or neither, being made in his image- yet fundamentalists insist that this is not possible, and the very idea is some kind of affront to God.
It makes no sense.

Fortunately the New Testament speaks quite clearly to the importance of any "confusion" that worldly constructs of sex and gender and associated roles might cause-

"there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." [Galatians 3:28]

one more comment, if I may-

the author commits two major logical fallacies when he says-

"We cannot make sense of life without the integrity of terms like "male" and "female," "man" and "woman." Even those who argue against these "binary" terms are forced to use them."

Setting aside the fact that we cannot make sense of life by using ONLY the terms male and female to describe the diversity of God's creation (described in my previous post) as fundamentalists would have us do...

1) the fact that someone uses the terms "male" and "female" or identifies as either in no way confirms the erroneous notion that those are the only two categories available, any more than using the terms "black" and "white" would confirm the absurd idea that those are the only two "real" colors and that colors like "red" and "green" and "purple" don't exist.

the author states-

"...We will see this binary understanding of gender as a gift from God revealed throughout creation..."

What Creation actually reveals is a broad diversity of sex/gender differentiation, where all kind of plants and animals are naturally asexual or hermaphroditic, where some animals change their sex as a matter of course(protandry/protogyny), where some have no reproductive abilities at all but still serve a critical role in the species' survival (worker bees), and in the case of many plants cannot sexually reproduce without the assistance of a member of an entirely different taxonomic kingdom ...

"the worldview of the Bible leaves no allowance for sex-change procedures"

Really?

"For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it."

Matthew 19:12 First line "There are eunuchs born of their mothers womb..."

Intersex conditions were known and recognised in Biblical times. Intersex - a body neither wholly male nor wholly female.

How do we classify those people who were born with either 5ARD or 17BHDD syndromes? They look like baby girls at birth, and look female up until the age of consent, and sometimes beyond. Yet they masculinise, and have a "natural sex change".

For 1 in 3, this is a nightmare, and these girls desperately request surgical and hormonal treatment to prevent this terrible affliction. If they don't get it, they become transsexual, women in masculinised bodies.

For another 1 in 3, this is the answer to their prayers: for they are transsexual boys, finally cured of this horrible medical condition, and able to come into full manhood.

And the final third go with the flow, they are able to function with at least some facility as either gender.

It's not that simple.
