there's one problem with joe allen doty's theory:

i noticed how you capitalized "LEGAL" in your defense for our president, and how you feel he is trying to protect the constitution. Last time i checked, murder was illegal and against our constitution. How can he uphold our constitution while advocating murder at the same time? the bottom line is you CANNOT be a true christian and support abortion, no matter how you justify it our how you look at it. that's the problem with our country, we've concerned ourselves too much with the laws of "man" while forgetting the biblical laws that God set forth in the Bible. Our president is no more religious than a slice of bread. He tries to act it to appeal to the christian voters but the word of god tells us you should show it by your fruits not your words. He cannot uphold the laws of man and the laws of God at the same time. The two contradict one another. Remember, the word tells us "a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways."

Many may call me small-minded too because I find very very little common ground with this president. Seems the longer he is in office, the less common ground I find, and he's just getting started! Wake up, Christians!

I was and remain impressed at President Obama'a willingness to have conversations about difficult issues. It is a far cry from the dogmatic ignorance and small-minded sectarianism of the previous administration!

Who is to expect more from a politician at heart? He makes pro-abortion people happy by making policy in favor of abortions. So he tries to stem the backlash from the other side. There is nothing new to see here.

By showing callus spite towards the sanctity of life in the womb in allowing abortions and embryonic stem cells, I'm pretty much dead set on voting him out in 2012. Also, I'm not too keen on his misunderstanding of Keynesian economics to spend your way out of a recession. All he did was dig our nation deeper into debt that it is likely to take several generations to get back out of debt.
