Feminism in and of itself is not a harmful or negative philosophy, and is in fact endorsed by Scripture. However, what is found in the mainstream media is not feminism, but radical feminism, and this is the form of the philosophy known to most Christians.

Also, the article did not blame all societal woes on feminism, but rather asserted that radical feminism has played a large part in the marginalization of fatherhood.

All in all, this article is spot on, though it should refine redefine feminism as represented to radical feminism.

While I agree that pop culture tends to marginalize dads, I disagree with blaming everything that is wrong with society on feminism. Feminism is not a bad word contrary to popular and mostly, Christian opinion. I also don't think it is the cause of fathers being marginalized. I don't think that can be proven. I am thankful to feminism that I: have a graduate degree, married later in life, and don't feel guilty if I don't wash the dishes and my husband does it instead (not neccesarily in that order). Why does the Christian right always come out so strongly again feminism when there is a multitude of other factors to blame? Could it be that men subconciously wish to maintain the status quo of the olden days when women were barefoot and pregnant, and perhaps resent the fact that women not only play in their sand-box now, but perhaps even run the sand-box....
