FBI Asks for Help Identifying Terrorist in ISIS Propaganda Video

The FBI has reached out to civilians for help identifying an ISIS terrorist that appeared in a recent propaganda video. The man speaks with a North American accent; authorities believe that the man is either American, Canadian or received an education in the West.

"We're hoping that someone might recognize this individual and provide us with key pieces of information," said Michael Steinbach, assistant director of the FBI's counterterrorism division.

In the chilling video, the ISIS terrorist says that he is in Raqqa and alleged soldiers of Bashar (al-Assad) are behind him digging their own graves.

“This is the end of every kafir (non-believer) that we get ahold of. This is the end that they face,” the terrorist says.

He is then shown executing the alleged soldiers alongside other militants; then men fall into the ditch that they had been digging.

Frank Cilluffo, security analyst for George Washington University said, "Clearly ISIS had a calculated step to be able to put this guy on camera. Why? Because he seems American. The message is aimed at a Western audience."
