When Conscience Speaks

Recently, I needed to fast after midnight for some medical tests I would be taking the following morning. In order to remind myself not to eat, I wrote myself a little note and stuck it on the refrigerator door. It went like this:

HEY FATSO,

HANDS OFF THAT DOORKNOB!

YOURS TRULY,

CONSCIENCE

The next day I went on vacation and had my sister feed our 2 dogs, while I was gone. For the life of me, I’ll never know why she thought that note was for her.
