Out to the 'ol Ballgame

A few years ago I took my son, Joshua, to his first Major League baseball game when he was just five years old.

The game was rain-delayed, so we spent our time talking and eating everything the concession had to offer: We were like *two* kids let loose in a candy store. We ate hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, pizza, soda, peanuts, ice cream, and cotton candy until we were stuffed.

About a year later, I asked my son if he'd like to go to another baseball game.

He thought about it for a moment and then replied,

"Gee, I don't think so, dad.  I'm really not that hungry."
