And the U.S. population, it says, "has been doubling every 40 years and is headed for one billion before the end of this century."


This is absurd. The U.S. fertility rate is right at the replacement rate, which means that our native born population is static and not growing.

All of the growth is coming from immigration, much of it illegal.

Dear fellow readers:
I knew this kind of thinking would be coming! There are those extreme environmental groups out there such as the one specifically cited in this article that believe the world would actually be better off without humans in it at all!! Obviously this is very misguided thinking (about population control to combat the "problem" of global warming). We need to remember that humankind was created to "have dominion" over the earth. Whenever we can we need to watch out for and stand up to this kind of secular humanist (or should I say "anti-humanist"?) thinking. Thanks and God bless!
