I feel the necessity of telling you that what follows is not a parody.

London’s police commissioner has announced at a conference on “islamophobia” that his force is considering the idea of sharing intelligence and information with Muslims before launching anti-terror operations. The reason, he says, is to make them more effective.

The London police intend to invite “selected, influential leaders from the Muslim community to come in and assist us when we are planning and dealing with new information.”

This makes a lot of sense, doesn’t it? What is to prevent those selective and influential Muslims from tipping off the terrorists? The London police – and too many in America – are under the mistaken impression that we can transform those who want to kill us by being nice to them and considerate of them. Since they disdain western culture, why do they move to the west? This isn’t a game. It is a deadly serious war. If the London police think by tipping off Muslim leaders they’ll do a better job finding terrorists, they are gravely – in more ways than one – mistaken.
