Your option for the republicans was mentioned in the article...Mike Huckabee. The press is doing everything it can to keep him out of site and keep Giuliani and Romney in front of the republicans eyes so they think he is the only real option.

While I won't back Guiliani for the reasons Dobson gives (and more), I'm not sure why no Christian conservatives are considering Ron Paul as a viable alternative. Just because Paul doesn't favor signing a Federal law to codify a reversal of Roe v. Wade doesn't make him "pro-choice"...he simply believes that matter should be left up to the states (as it was pre-Roe).

As far as abortion goes, I believe we will never get an outright ban from a POLITICAL approach...America is split nearly 50-50 in almost every poll I've ever seen. Our best bet is to get it back to a state level and focus on changing HEARTS...convince the average woman that she doesn't WANT an abortion...instead of trying to focus our efforts on making it impossible for her to get one through legal means. We also need to be willing to do more as Christians to support charities that contribute help (financial and emotional support) to single moms who choose to give life to their babies.

At last I am hearing thimgs about the pres. election from
solid Christians. Dobson is great, an excelenmt discerner of right thinking. It seemed to me that Tancredo holds best
to the Republican platform which is good if he is not just
making empty promises he won't live up to. I would not vote for anyone who back up the abortionists or not take a stsnd for Bible based marriage. But other things enter into this. I certainly will not vote for anybody who is for surrendering to the demands of United Nations. We have already caved in to them far too much. Our choice must have
a great deal more prayer and spiritual discernment. It is
time we totally submit to 2 Chron.7:14, then trust God to
bring about His choice. He puts His men into leadership.
