There’s a lot of money in being President of the United States if you are prepared to sellout. That seems to be what Hillary and Bill Clinton have done as together they have managed to rake in more than $100 million last year, according to their tax filings. Most of it came from Bill’s speaking and both of their books. Some of the sources of that income are not disclosed, which, given the Clintons’ record of dealing with shady people, ought to tell us something.

They gave more than $10 million to charity and more than half of that was to their favorite charity: the Clinton Foundation. Guess who sits on the board of the Clinton foundation? Bill is president; Hillary is secretary and treasurer and Chelsea is a board member. Nice, huh?

The presidency pays a $450,000 salary and offers free room and board, not to mention a free plane. But when you are the Clintons, enough is never enough. They are shameless in vacuuming up the cash. It gives a whole knew meaning to a book of some years ago: “The Selling of the Presidency.”
