Michael Ward incorrectly defines "astrology" in this article. According to Webster, astrology is "a false science based on a belief that the positions of the stars, planets, and moon affect people's lives". The wise men were not practicing astrology, they were studying "astronomy" - "the science that studies the motion, size, and makeup of the stars, planets, comets, etc . . ." (Webster again).

So I wonder, did he mean to say "astronomy" instead of "astrology" or was his choice of words correct and his incorrect definition an attempt to mislead those who might not understand that there is a difference?

Hmmm . . .
