Thirty-six years ago today the Supreme Court removed bans against abortion in every state and in a subsequent ruling allowed abortion at any stage and for any reason. With all the talk of hope and change, there is no hope for the unborn without a woman’s consent and no change, except there will be more abortions in this administration.

The pro-choice lobby may have won the political battle for now, but we who are pro-life still have opportunities to tell and show abortion-minded women the truth. That is why during this new administration, it is crucial for those who love God and the life he creates to get behind our local pregnancy centers and assist them financially and as volunteers. Yes, we can save lives. Yes, we can lead women – and men – to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Yes, we can light some candles instead of waiting for Washington to make things darker for the unborn and for millions of women who have already been scarred for life by the pain of abortion.

Yes, we can do this. Will you make such a commitment? I have.
