‘Liberty and Tyranny’ May Keep Us Free

People frequently ask me where they can go for reliable information.

One of the best I’ve found is a new book by attorney and talk show host Mark Levin. The title is “Liberty and Tyranny.”

For those who have learned about our Constitution and history primarily through government schools and the media, this book is an eye-opener.

“Liberty and Tyranny” accurately recalls what the founders of our country wanted for themselves and their posterity. It promotes the virtues of hard work, living within one’s means, small government and taking care of one’s self and family. Faith as an essential, foundational principle because people need a reason for living beyond themselves. And it warns against dependency on growing and encroaching government, loss of liberty and the envy and dependency that brings.

The book is perfectly timed for what the Obama administration is trying to do to us. Get it and encourage your friends to read it. “Liberty and Tyranny” by Mark Levin might just save the country. It’s that good.

I am most amazed at the conservative worship of the "founding fathers". These men have been given almost God-like qualities and the truth of their humanity and thus ability to be sinful is ignored. Many owned slaves, and regardless of whether it was an accepted institution of the day it was sin just as abortion is legal and acceptable to our society, but sin nevertheless. Many made fortunes from selling a harmful and addictive drug called tobacco, and again the same principle applies, legal or not it was still immoral. Many made vast fortunes by shipping the human slave cargo from Africa and elsewhere in completely evil and inhumane conditions that no so called Christian could ever reconcile with the Love of Christ for one's brother. These Godly men new that the Word of God says to pay your taxes GLADLY yet the trifle taxes imposed upon them by the King they used as a grounds for revolution. They also Knew that scripture says to "honor the King" Try to use liberty to see clearly!!!
