There is great wisdom in the past, if we will heed it. As we watch the arrested terrorist suspects who appear to be an al Qaeda cell in the U.S., and as we hear our president apologizing for this country and seeking talks with some of the world's biggest despots…and as a debate rages in the Obama administration as to whether to continue our presence in Afghanistan…consider these words from the late General Douglas Macarthur:

"The history of the failure of war can almost be summed up in two words: too late.

"Too late in comprehending the deadly purpose of a potential enemy.

"Too late in realizing the mortal danger.

"Too late in preparedness.

"Too late in uniting all possible forces for resistance.

"Too late in standing with one's friends."

If we continue to allow terrorists into America and allow them to build their schools and mosques; if we continue to play the political correctness game with people who want to kill us, when the next threat comes, it will be too late to do anything about it.
