First, as a conservative and a Christian, I do want to help those who truly need it (the single mom down the street that’s struggling) BUT I don't want my government involved! What my government can do for me is tax me less so that I can give more to charity.

Christ commanded us as individuals to love each other and to give to the poor. This is clear to anyone who reads the Gospels. However, if one wants to infer that this command was directed to a group (rather than singular individuals) than I think we should prefer the Church and not the government. However, in my opinion, this commandment from Jesus was directed to me and you, as individuals.

2. Not only "smarter" government, we want less government. Fair tax = Less tax.

3. Government should have no role in education. Tax me less and I will take care of educating my children.

4. The one thing we conservatives do want from government is a strong defense.

5. read point #4

I wish I had more space here but alas

I think that the writer is misinformed on Huckabee's immigration plan. Of course the MSM keeps it out of focus also, because it is so similiar to John McCains, maybe even worse.

I am a christian and I believe in having a christian in the White House. But we need a president that will uphold the laws of the United States, and honor the U.S. Constitution. "ONE NATION UNDER GOD", will quickly disappear if we don't watch out who our next president is and how he is going to look out for "we the people".

Please see this short YouTube and read this article from the Washingtion Times, before quickly endorsing Huckabee!
