I cannot understand how evangelicals could NOT have considered John McCain, considering the only other choice we have. Surely someone has noticed that the man's name is Barack Hussein Obama - you do not have 3 Muslim names unless your parents are fine w/that, that he is for those groups who like to change our laws and amendments to suit either their sexual preferances, their disdain for the unborn and their needs according to whichever way the wind blows. He is the candidate who has openly criticized the Bible, check out YouTube "Sermon on the Mount".

Don't they know that he has SUCH little experience regarding war, it's effects on Veterans, etc. that he couldn't possibly have anywhere near the insight as John McCain. In fact a friend told me once that she feels that if you are going to run for President, you should have served in some branch of service to your country. I thought that made such sense, afterall, George Washington was a soldier!

Christians wake up!

I might vote for McCain. But he hasn't done enough to distance himself from 8 years of Terror. Didn't someone once say "we have nothing to fear but fear itself"?It would seem the Republicans would change that to"we have a lot to gain through the use of fear". Watching Rudy Giuliani and the response he got to a well delivered speech only solidified my feelings. The crowd was dripping with arrogance. He mocked Obama:"he wants to read terrorists their rights" and the crowd laughed in approval. But in a calm momment lets consider: The tolerance of injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. You know, how a man treats his enemies when they are powerless is an indication of that man's character. As a conservative, I think it's just as important how we value life outside the womb as inside the womb.Rudy's slip:"when I was a trial lawyer, I learned that if there aren't any facts, you need to create them". Yup, just like when the Bush admin. created a powerpoint to prove WMD's in Iraq
