The people that htese gay activists should be mad at are the California Supreme Court justices who grossly overstepped their power in legalizing same-sex marriage in the first place. This issue had already been decided by the people in a democratic vote once but these black-robed, social engineering liberals decided that there was a loophole.
Because this was already on the ballot for November 4th their decision not to postpone the legalization of same-sex marriage was outrageous to put it mildly. THEY are the cause of this, not the Mormon Church or Rick Warren or any other Christian!
If Christians were vandalizing the property of known homosexuals because they were gay and lesbian they would be up on hate crimes charges. What are the police doing about these extremists who are demonstrating hate based on religion?
Absolutely disgraceful!

So be angry if you must phat, but does that give you the right to destroy property? I think not. Just as the prolife movement must use peaceful and law abiding methods to bring about change, so must the gay rights folks, that is what Mr Colson is saying. And while you certainly have the right to your opinion on gay marriage so does the other side. Clearly God has an opinion as well, Matthew 19:
.....4And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
6Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Please notice it says male and female, not male and male or female and female! Apparently the majority in California agrees.

DEAR MR. COLSON:

If it was YOUR marriage that had suddenly been declared null and void in a popular vote, don't you think YOU would be just a little angry?
