Wow. I could not agree more. However I don't know if, or how, this can be turned around. People have substituted our God with a capital "G" with a god with a small "g" government. People are now looking largely to government to take care of them from the cradle to the grave. The more government acquiesces, the further a nation will remove itself from the need to depend on, and serve the God of the universe. Once 50% + 1 of the people in a country are dependent on government handouts or government jobs, there is no turning back and I think the US has reached that point now. With the Lord anything is possible of course, but I am afraid that it will either take a miracle or a disaster to bring about a change in peoples attitudes.I have seen this happen in Western Europe in the 60s and 70s and I am seeing it now also happen in North America and I fear for the future of the country.
