BTW where would Social Security be if the plan Bush put forward to privatize SS (put it in the stock market) had not been rejected?
How is allowing Haliburton non competitive contracts with the government on a cost plus basis(meaning there is no limit to how much they bill us the taxpayers) a free market system?
Oh yes, don't forget to mention that Halibuton is based in Houston Texas, tied to it's oil industry, Bush' home state! Cronyism anyone!?
Republicans want unchecked free markets. Democrats want unlimited government. The true path lies somewhere in between out of control government with it's unlimited spending, and unchecked free markets based on greed and endless accumulation of wealth.
