Assyrian and Chaldean Christians Flee Iraq to Neighboring Jordan

Rosie Malek-Yonan is a Christian Assyrian author and activist who was interviewed on 30 May 2007 by Stephen Crittenden of ABC's The Religion Report, on the Australian National Radio program. The segmet was entitled:

"Christian Minorities in the Islamic Middle East: Rosie Malek-Yonan on the Assyrians"

Rosie Malek-Yonan was also invited to give a Congressional testimony on Capitol Hill about the plight of the Christian Assyrians in Iraq since the 2003 U.S. led invasion.

So much of what happens to the Christians in the Middle-East in particular, to the Assyrians, is not reported. It's time for us to stand up for these brothers and sisters.

This is so very, very sad. We must pray for these people. I am so thankful the author exposed what is going on over there. Let us pray for the safety of these people!
