satovy:

My apologies. I wish I could tell your that you were off-base, but I have no doubt that it is true that you have been attacked by our brothers and sisters. I will pray for your reconciliation, and would love it if you happened to be nearby so I can work with you to accomplish it. I am in Buffalo, NY. Where are you?

Thanks for telling the truth.

This shows the typical christian generosity.
Give toys where food and clothing is needed.
Give bibles for physical food.

These people would be much better off converting to Islam as the Christian community is nothing more than a group of heartless self indulged hypocrites that do not keep the commandments of Christ.

I say these things not as an outsider, but as a Christian of 36 years that has been forsaken by the christian communtiy. Not because I commited some dispicable sin. If I had done that they would have embraced me. No, the reason they forsook me is because I sought out to do God's will.

The church is hopelessly filled with selfish individuals who despise and hate Jesus Christ. They speak love with their lips, but their actions talk of nothing but hate and resentment.

The sadest thing about these Iraqi's is that: You can't count on Christians. Especially those in America.

For as bad as Sadaam was, Christians were safe in Iraq.

We took out a secular government that allowed Christian Churches, and created a Muslim government where Christians no longer feel safe.

I feel for my Christian brothers and sisters in Iraq, but I have a hard time believing that they would be asking the very people that put them at risk to stay.

Of course, I know that things will get worse when we leave (not that we're planning on it--have you heard about the bases we are building?), but experience tells us that our presence cannot make things any better for Christians.

Perhaps we should grant Christians refugee status and let them move to our country. What are the chances of that?

Father, I ask in Jesus name that You provide for your people. Give them exactly what they need Lord, food, proper shelter. Lord I thank you for their leader. I ask that you continue to give him strength as he carries out Your will and purpose. Comfort then Lord, and I give you the Glory and Praise, and Bless your Son's Holy name, in Jesus name. Amen

Hey guys, now lets not solely look at the content in which the article is written but lets also look at the context. If you two are Americans we cannot surmount what Christians are going through over there. Did you read what the article said???, they can't even leave the church, some fear and even the pastor fears that they will be kidnapped. And as a matter of fact, the author specifically states that despite thier conditions, they are praising and worshiping God, not their leader. They find hope in the leader. Let not allow the enenmy to use trickery even the way we read things. We know the truth, and the truth is in the article, "they are trusting in hoping that God will provide, and He is", "despite thier conditions they are still praising God", even thier leader has given up his money. So let's just remember these people in our prayers today and not focus on our opinions on the structure of the way this article is written.

I agree this article is poorly written giving me the impression that this Brother is equatiing himself wiith Jesus. I pray that his intentions are holy ones.

It troubles me to read this article in the way that it is
written that it is not showing God involved in it. God takes care of His people. I don't see that written. There is
something not quite right about this article. It doesn't set right with me, and I know God.
