The Pope is correct on at least one area. look at the worst poverty and most polluted countries. They are Hindu, Buddhist and Communist. The total fatalism, belief in Karma, and lack of (or even antagonism to) any and all Christian morals is the leading cause of their beliefs that the poor deserve to be poor and should suffer, because of alledged sins of past lives. That because of their need to suffer to pay for their sins of past lives, it is a crime to give charity or help the poor. Communism's 'ends justify the means' leads to production via polluting factories and enviormental ruin as being most efficient, and causeing famine by forcing farmers to join collective farms. 26 million starving to death under Stalin was seen as good since that left more food for others.
