Syrian Rebels Damage, Desecrate Churches

Religion Today

Syrian rebels are trying to capture an ancient Christian town north of Damascus, CBN News reports. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports the al Qaeda-linked rebels also seem to be targeting a main hospital in the town of Sadad, as well as damaging and desecrating Christian churches in the area. Fighting has lasted three years, killing more than 100,000 people and forcing 2 million to flee.
