Well, as you all know, today is Halloween. Whether you celebrate it or not, this article on Crosswalk.com's Live It! Channel shares in brief some amazing things you'll want to know about this day. I'd also like to share of couple of REALLY cool ideas that my family and I have for every Halloween in order to share Christ's light with trick-or-treaters and passersby. :) Carving pumpkins is a lot of fun, and, just because my family doesn't celebrate Halloween, we still find ourselves carvin' away and pullin' out seeds ... but not in the usual way. If you looked at our porch tonight, you would find designs other than jack-o-lantern faces in the orange vegetable. Shining brightly, you would see crosses, happy faces and maybe the name "JESUS."
Another cool activity is to hand out childrens tracks (some even come with games!) along with the candy. This way you're proclaiming Christ and living out loud instead hiding in the basement or trick-or-treating. :)
