* Non-professional songwriter is defined as never having had an original song on the Singing News Top 80 chart; and who are not currently under an exclusive publishing contract.
There Are (2) Two Grand Prize Winners:
- A grand prize winner chosen by Ernie Haase and judges will be o!ered a publishing deal with Ernie Haase and Signature Sound Music, and have their song recorded by Ernie Haase & Signature Sound on an upcoming CD.
- Another grand prize winner chosen by Gordon Mote and judges will be o!ered a publishing deal with RSI music group, and have their song recorded by Gordon Mote on an upcoming CD.
- The two grand prize winners will be featured in a Singing News magazine story to be released at a to-be-determined 2011 date.

Paid entrance and participation in the National Quartet Convention ("NQC") 2011 Songwriters Showcase

Personal introductions to key record labels, publishers and artists during National Quartet Convention week.
Judges for this year's contest include the following(listed in order of their picture): Ernie Haase, Chris Binion, Jim Brady, Twila Labar, Rebecca Peck, and Gordon Mote.
