As we turn to God for healing and hope in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in the United States, we invite you to join us for a national prayer vigil this Saturday, September 15, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. EST and a special chat event that will start at 9:00 p.m. EST.

"AMERICA PRAYS" will be led by Christian leaders Bruce Wilkinson, speaker and author of The Prayer of Jabez, John C. Maxwell, leadership authority and founder of INJOY, the organization hosting this event, and Max Lucado, pastor and author of Grace for the Moment, with special messages by James and Shirley Dobson of Focus on the Family and Franklin Graham, CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association.

Crosswalk.com will be offering video and audio streams of the live event, available on this page. A free broadcast of this event is available to churches who wish to connect to the broadcast using their DishNetwork satellite dish. More than 1,000 churches will participate in this manner, uniting over 140,000 people from various denominations nationwide. If your church would like to connect to the broadcast, go to http://www.injoy.com/americaprays for details and instructions.

The AmericaPrays chat event will promote discussion about how we as Christians should respond to the events of the week. Steven Curtis Chapman, Margaret Becker, and others will be joining us at 9:00 p.m. EST. Click here to go to Chat.

"As an outreach to our communities in this time of uncertainty, we want to team up with every possible church across our country for a much needed event - "AMERICA PRAYS," says John C. Maxwell, founder of the sponsoring organization, INJOY.

"It is my prayer that every pastor and church would unite together this Saturday in prayer for our nation by hosting 'AMERICA PRAYS,'" says Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ.

We hope you will join us on Saturday.
