Andy Froiland
While Broadcasting has been the mainstay of Andy's career an emphasis on ministry has been at the heart of it since 1991. The morning show radio host has been his title for much of his radio career with stops up and down California including time in Sacramento, Fresno and for the last 10 years in San Francisco.
Andy currently holds the title, Directory of Ministry Relations at KFAX as well as morning host.This Directory of Ministry Relations position has given him the opportunity to preach in a variety of churches in the Bay Area for the last four years. "while I love preaching in our current cultural context I have been, and still am influenced by the reformed perspective and those great, dead theologians that God has used in years past to help shape, encourage and change the church."
If the Paradigm "Find a job you love and you'll never work again," is true then Andy has not worked in over 30 years. That being said, what is of greater delight to Andy than broadcasting is His family and freedom God has given him to be involved in a variety of ministries over the years including Act3 ministries as well as the MLJ Recordings Trust. He has also served as a volunteer chaplain at Corcoran State Prison as well as a youth pastor in Visalia.
Andy and his wife Wendy are the proud parents of two boys and a daughter.
